Stone is a hero in many Loyalist circles. No place for stunts like that anymore.

I don't know why they're taking him to court. It's therapy he needs, not prison. IN all honesty I feel a bit sorry for him becasue he's claerly not right in the head.

He doesn't need therapy, he wanted back into jail because like most others he spent a long time there and can't cope with the real world. Thats my take on it.

I'd heard that he'd been talking about 'never having it so good' in jail, in that your food and lodgings are taken care of. I can't remember where I heard it though, but it wasn't long before this incident.

He lives in faer and I believe as BH has said he needs therapy. Although he does come across as educated and has his head screwed on, but at times I found what he was saying as a mix between a weak and feeble man and that of a determined loyalist. His illness has played a major part on his mentality.
He has longed for the simple things in life but the path he chose prevents that. I feel sorry for him.

Did he blow people up in Stormont? So I give my opinion on him from personal knowledge and now it is to do with him blowing people up. I thought this thread was about his actions at stormont??

No he didn't. But he would have liked to ahve, unless you also believe it was "performance art". I personally think he's mad rather than bad, I was just interested in your selective style of condemnation, that's all.

I personally think he's mad rather than bad, I was just interested in your selective style of condemnation, that's all. I don't beleive that was performance art, I would say attention seeking would be more fitting. If he intended as claimed then he would have been properly armed instead of the likes of a fake weapon. One journalist has already said he was going to do something big that day. I totally condemn what he done that day, the security officers done a brilliant job apart from that it was a waste of time and energy. I don't believe it was poorly planned, it was well planned by someone that wouldn't be what I would call stable.

Glad to hear you can condemn a loyalist. Care to condemn his actions in Milltown as well? Or do the three deasths he caused there not count?

BH why are you trying to draw me into a conversation instead of just coming out with it. You know fine well I have in the past condemned many loaylsit attacks, maybe we should have a thread where we can say condemned or not on certain attacks just to even things up.

BTW I condemn the attack on Milltown because it was a funeral and there were people grieving. No matter how wrong the attack was he had balls of steel to do what he done that day. Leaving out the fact it was a funeral, on a different day he should have had a machine gun and alot more handgrenades and maybe just maybe he would have got McGuinness and co and maybe a few more provies with him.
