I find Harry's response slightly at odds with his actions.
He got upset at because his support for loyalist violence would in reflection give justification to some for a response in violence. He pointed out that he did not like getting put into that position as things are not black and white but shades of grey.
What I find odd is that Harry had no problems trying to push me into giving justification for loyalist violence. Why do become upset Harry when someone does the same as you have done? Or do you owe me an apology?

Or do you owe me an apology? I'm not upset. I'm not going to justify any attack on my community. That is for others to do. I don't owe you any apology. Don't mean that nastily but i don't think i owe you an apology. I've already stated before on here that Loyalists attacked the Catholic community for protecting the IRA. It was just interesting to hear a Republican being so open and frank about the relationship between the provos and the community. That is why i posed the question and i would fully accept a response from you similar to my own

Christ, dude, i wasn't asking you to justify anything!! Do you not understand why im asking you this question?? You said that at the time you supported Stone's actions at Milltown. What i was trying to do is give you some perspective as to how a republican would view it by reversing the scenario. It was an honest question and not an attempt to catch you out. No need to get so defensive. Leeside read what you asked me. You asked me to justify it. I know exactly what you were trying to do and again its not me you need to be putting a question like that to. Only a Republican could answer such a question. Would the actions of Loyalists of left some Republicans feeling the way i would of?? I'm not getting defensive buddy. I just won't allow myself to be force into black and white scenarios. There is always to much grey I wasn't asking you to justify a Republican attack....I was asking you can you therefore understand how a Republican could use the very same logic in defending a similar attack say if someone attacked John Gregg's funeral in the same way Stone attacked Milltown. Simple question and yes, Harry, you are getting very defensive.

Aye, but if me or you were to come out with the same shite we'd be called evil and murderers and all the usual unionist shite. Jim you see it as an attack on innocent mourners. I see it as an attack on the IRA and its cronies. You wouldn't hear me jumping up and down playing the moral high games. It was an IRA funeral. End of as far as i'm concerned. It might be difficult to listen to you as your family were there and you feel i'm justifying attacking your family which isn't my point. I have no personal feelings towards anyone there. My knowledge of your family being there is only with hindsight, i giving you honest views. I understand why you are saying it I just find it comparable to me saying I support the shankill fish shop bombing (which i dont), if I said I did I'd be made out to have horns on my head

Simple question and yes, Harry, you are getting very defensive. So your not asking me to justify it anymore?? You now want me to understand it?? Make your mind up mate. If a Republican wants to feel that way then i can't change their minds. It will be them who feels that way. All i'm telling you is my feelings regarding the topic at hand. Start a new thread on attacking a Loyalist funeral if you wish

Many people at the funeral supported the ira and its campaign, end of.
I wouldn't call ira supporters innocent, far from it.
Now this is getting tiresome, why do republicans here constantly misquote me??? Show me Jim where I said that and then post what I actually said ffs. Re-read my flaming posts.

Unless you have turned into Professor Xavier from the X-men lately mind reading is not a talent I believe you possess. You have no more idea what Jim thinks than he has what you think.

ah now we have moved into the realms of insult once again i see. In fairness you were refering to setanta but the point stands still you cannot read minds and comments like 'bet you think it though' are not argument or debate they are merely playground jibes. A straightforward question what exactly is this loyalist hard man persona you have been steadily adopting over the past few months meant to achieve, does it somehow make you more loyalist as it has alway been my observation that the greener than green republicans tend to adopt such personas in regards to their beliefs in an attempt to appear to be 'true' republicans - is this a mirror image of that only with the idea of 'true' loyalism in this case. Or perhaps you don't lime trying to read your mind and might like to state your own point of view and then allow us to comment on it?

You see BA to bet something is not a guarantee, it is a good chance, so by me using the word bet does not equate I can read minds. I have seen enough of the sectarian hatred on various forums from republicans such as yourself and setanta etc to know there is a high probability I am right to say such a thing. Funny you don't pick up on assumptions made to me or other Unionists.
You want to ask me anything go ahead and I will answe as honestly as possible, infact start a thread with questions for me. It will enable you and fellow republicans to ask me whatever questions you want while at the sametime dish out personal abuse to me, dissect and twist my posts and try to belittle me. So go ahead and ask, I perhaps could re-ask you several questions as well. Nah I already know the answers from previous posts so let's stick to questioning me. Open the thread and ask.

BTW I won't duck and dive like the typical republican responses to difficult questions. If it shows me in a bad light then so be it. Just think on yourr replies to many posts along with other republicans where you tried to avoid answering a question.

setanta and sectarian hatred- is this a comedy night? If you want republican sites that DO have that content i can point you in the direction of a fair few. Up the Ra is one odious example of such a site I will NOT post on as the republicanism evinced there is mere growling about 'fuck the brits' on the whole and has no thought or content worth responding to. There was a time when it was a bit better, ask Harry who showed commendable courage by posting there at one point (until some of the idiots started throwing personal insults at him in lieu of ability to debate with him). I am sure we all have some hilariously mistaken assumptions about each other, yours about what it actually means to be catholic are probably mirrored by some of mine about what it means to be protestant but I would say if you think those who espouse republicanism here are full of sectarian hatred you are very wrong. You see BA to bet something is not a guarantee, it is a good chance, so by me using the word bet does not equate I can read minds.Do you perchance debate how many angels can dance on the head of a pin on dull evenings as well as splitting hairs
