The Pope of Rome's hateful cult causes trouble wherever it establishes itself,even over here in New Zealand. A lot of Anglicans hate the Pope of Rome because of his hateful language towards Protestantism,especially Anglicanism & Lutheranism,in a speech that he gave back in 2000 when he was still a scumbag Cardinal. Is the Mass mentioned in the Bible? The correct answer is NO! The Pope of Rome is Hell-bound,as is the rest of his abominable idolatrous cult anyway. Aidan. |

If mass isn't mentioned in the Bible then the fact Anglicans also have it as a sacrament should attract your ire I should think ?  I agree with Leeside, even though I'm probably the one person who'd self identify as a reasonably strong Catholic on here this crap is just too priceless to ban. I see you're quoting the pure idiocy that is Chick tracts, are you going to be posting up some of the other ones in the Chick tract series? We do not have the Mass in the Low Church branch of Anglicanism.
We also do not believe in transubstantiation (which is another anti-Christian practice that has come out of Rome) at all.
We say that the bread & wine symbolise the body & blood of Christ,not say that the bread & wine actually turn into the body & blood of Christ.

I'm waiting with bated breath for the answer to that one..., Aidan I'm not going to get into a massive barney with you about transubstantiation but the Catholic Church is hardly the only Church to believe in it or that the bread and wine are literally Christ's body and if you do want to argue it you can tell me why quite a lot of Christ's disciples dissapear when he starts on about eating his body saying they found it a hard teaching. Personally I regard Protestants as fellow Christians and not as some alien other.
So you are low Church fair enough - other people follow other Christian tradiitons, why you must constantly engage in these waves of bigotry I don't know and it seems an unhealthy outlook to be frank.

The Romish cult engages in idolatry,as Roman Catholics bow down before statues like the Pope of Rome does.
As for worshipping the Pope of Rome,that definitely IS idolatry in itself.
Being Anglican with Low Church sympathies,I can understand why we don't have statues at all.
