As an Atheist and in the balance of equality and fairness will we be getting a non-religious section? Not that I will want to contribute to it, but I do feel restricted by the fact I can not confront religion in the religous section.
Some religous people are extremely sensitive and can not tolerate any constructive criticism. But maybe just deliberate antagonistic and sectarian remarks should be prohibitated.

I think you should be able to contribute to it and confront religion if that is your choice. IMO a religious section should be something similar to other sections where we can debate our beliefs or lack of them.

I agree with you Wasp (I do not expect to say that often so I am taking this early opportunity to get it in now!) I was just pulling the chain of the site administrators as we can go over the top with 'group rules' and political correctness, and equality is not an exclusive zone for Catholics. But nor am I keen on having my nose rubbed in daily prayer as I have seen on some sites that have a religous section. And the sub-heading to the religous section seems wrong. I know there are plenty of obscene nuts on the web. But surely as adults we do not need to state the things that are not socially acceptable.

You've got a point about the sub-heading. I look forward to watching Wasp post his usual diatribes about the Kafflicks without falling foul of the exhortation not to attack other religions...;-)

Why not just have it all in the same forum? When you split forums into sub forums its a bit harder to keep track of.
I wouldnt mind having a few debates on religion or god.

Well so bearhunter isn't upset lol, we could talk about the charasmatics or Billy Graham. Perhaps we could just start with creation.

So if there are no attacks on individual religions allowed, can I generally attack religion as a whole?
