I have run into many difficulties over many years because of my non-religion. And I think the issue of religion is still too sensitive an area.

While I think that both beerhunter and wasp's points are valid and correct. We should stay away from religion until we have become more confident in our other politics first. As we could quickly polorise groups. Although I am an Atheist, I come from a Catholic up-bringing and must hold traces of that up-bringing. Not everything from religion is bad, but for some the questioning of religious beliefs is a step too far. Let us move together in small steps forwards rather degenerate into quickly falling into our various camps.
