I know IKEA are recruiting for the Belfast store, they are not due to open till December 2007, but these things never open to schedule. Not sure on the exact location, I think it is East Belfast direction near City Airport the Harbour Estate, but that could be wrong. I will ask and find out for you as I know someone who is training for the store.

I was under the impression it was beside the City airport too. Few minutes drive from the city center really.

I am a dab hand at flat pack assembly, I do scan the 'instructions' but then quickly discard them. Recently a mate phoned with that desperate sound to his voice. His wife was away with the kids and he had been tasked with assembly of the kids wardrobes. But had spent most of the week living the life of 'freedom'. But on Friday had started the wardrobes and now on Sunday morning was getting desperate as the wife and kids were due back late Sunday night. After a quick inspection I pointed out some of the errors and assured that correction was possibly. He had rounded up two other mates, but they stepped back as I got to work dis-assembling and re-assembling. I got absorbed in the task and only when I needed help holding doors that I gave a shout. Up came the mates who had made a fry and eaten it and were waiting for my shout, they said while they could hear the drill and electric screw driver going they knew I was alright on my own! We were putting on the last door as the Mrs returned!
