Okay I would like to make an announcement. I have just proposed to my fiancee who has been mad enough to say yes. We are not planning on getting married for at least 9-12 months while we save up for wedding costs but I just thought seeing as I know everyone here a longish time byy now I'd let you all know! Anyone who would like to see me looking like an eejit can look at this photo

fuck knows setanta- we were talking about it - her mum is not religous - her father is jewish but she has not seen him in some years as he was a bit of a prick and aalcoholic and tended to be too able with his hands if you get my meaning. My dad will not say anything but we know he will be sad if it is not a church wedding. She has not been to orthodox church in years - the rules are apparently you can have a priest from both traditions in the catholic church in a mixed marriage but only the catholic priest can truly officiate in his own church -the orthodox priest bestows a blessing. And the reverse is true if you hold the ceremony in an orthodox church. We dont really want big church wedding as we are both quiet people in real life and would like small wedding with 20 or 30 people max there. Since this part of london has many greek and cypriot people there are many orthodox churches about the place anyway.

i was always very quiet setanta - you are more of a wild guy than i am i i would think - i never loved going on the lash or anything like that - i am a sentimental bugger and also enjoyed days out that involved picnics or going to art galleries etc - in other words a bit of a nerd.

um ok - i try not too drink too much as i remember when first going out with svetlana she took time seeing how much i drink due to her family history and she will drink very little as she is worried if she does she will get a taste for it like her dad. I will probably have stag
do in london or gowran which is the little village my dads family come from. Although my dad's older half-sister will emberass the hell out of us both if we stay there by asking about our sex lifes -she is over 80 and had a dozen kids so this side of life is just natural to her and she has that attitude that been old means you can say anything. I remember as a teenager she tried to set me up with older girls to get 'experience' which is hilarious considering my dad goes bright red if someone opens the sun at page 3 in his company. Worse yet svetlana has similar sense of humor and will start teasing me to wind me up.
