A Ballymena man phones the dentist and the conversation is as follows.

Ballymena man "How much do you charge to pull a tooth out"?

Dentist "85 pounds is our standard charge"

Ballymena man "Flamin hell, have you nothing cheaper, what if you didn't freeze the mouth"?

Dentist "Well that would be very painfull but if you want I could do it for about 15 pounds less"

Ballymena man "Well what if you used a trainee nurse to help you out instead of a qualified one"?

Dentist " Well I could do it for about 40 pounds then, but I warn you it will be even more painfull"

Ballymena man "What if you get the trainee to pull out the tooth instead of you"?

Dentist "Now that would be great experience for the trainee, but the pain would be excruciating and it would leave a very painful mouth for days. But I could do it that way for a fiver"

Ballymena man "Right it's a deal, book my wife in for next week"
