No I have not read Ferguson but I agree with this in the review on the Amazon page you highlighted. "Ferguson's emphasis throughout is on the pursuit of economic profit and military might." That is capitalism and by extention imperialism. And if he holds such a view then he is not unbiased, and a judgement on the whole steps outside of an unbiased criticism. You can only judge on pieces.

maybe he will be selling all those mass cards he found at the maze instead frazer as i say is a victim but loyalism surely can produce better spokesmen than frazer. He is not exactly of the mental calibre of a david ervine to draw an obvious comparision and he tends to make himself a laughing stock for all sides at times.

It's been cancelled. Plans for Love Ulster Parade cancelled
The organisers of a controversial loyalist parade, which ended in violence in Dublin last year, have said they have cancelled plans to hold another similar march through the capital later this year.
William Fraser, spokesman for the organisers of the march, said they had cancelled the parade after they had been told that senior members of the government, including the Taoiseach, would be prepared to meet them for talks, possibly at the end of September.
Mr Fraser said the discussions would centre on the grievances felt by the Protestant victims of IRA violence along the border during the Troubles.
Mr Fraser said that instead of the march he planned to organise a cultural event in Dublin instead.I wonder what htis cultural event will comprise of. Something ecumenical and inclusive I suppose. ;D Unfortunately whatever about the Cultural Event, the rest of it will be a lot of finger pointing. Mr Frazer's Fair Web Site, is one long rant at the, NAZI-Commies in the ROI. He makes all sorts of unsupported allegations about the GAA, The Gardai, past Presidents and the people of the ROI. Mr Frazer deserves a platform, given what has happened to his family. However he has been rejected by his own people at the ballot box, time after time, after time. He won just 70 odd votes in Derry the last time out. Now if Mr Frazer's people aren't listening to him, why should the people of the ROI have to listen. Would the people of the Shankill or Ballymena or Portadown, accept the victims of the Dublin/Monaghan bombings marching through their areas. I doubt it, but maybe WASP can say different. It would be a great day, if some sort of Cultural Event that educated us about the Orange-Protestant tradition could be held and respected in Dublin. But tradition and finger-pointing don't go hand-in-hand. You just get what we got the last time: two lots of finger pointers with the Guards, and traders of Dublin caught in the middle. Lets have Mr Frazer and the OO, but not the two together.

The victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings IMO should march say in Belfast, I am sure they will be welcomed by those who have suffered here at the hands of bombs designed to maim and kill as many as possible. Infact if victims from here were marching in Dublin it would be great if the victims of the Dublin bombings could join them.

They dont need to march, marches dont highlight anything the point usually gets lost along the way.
