Some sick shit. It really makes my blood boil to see this. Its so unprofessional of an army. British troops have been guilty of things similar to this. It wrong and inhumane.
Unless you have been in a combat situation its difficult to grasp how people can be so cruel. American soldiers were being slaughtered, American civillians were being beheaded on the internet, American contract workers were being tortured then their bodies dragged along behind land rovers through the streets. This was nothing other than cold blooded, calculated revenge. These prisoners, rightly or wrongly were perceived as the perteprators or supporters of the acts against American citizens. This was payback.
Its bizarre and its almost like i'm justifying what was done but human nature is wild and unpredicatble and every person may have different reactions to different scenarios. These actions were carried out by the few in an army of many.
