Hes going about the right thing, representing his communities views in the party that governs the south. Cant see it doing anything for the votes though.

I think FF are looking at the bigger picture especially in trying to win over Unionists. You will probably find Unionists in certain areas will tactically vote for them.

fair play to Mr. Bicker and his colleagues on their job at Collins barracks. It's quite a setup there. Anyone north of the border who hasn't been to the chiefs and generals exhibition is really missing out. It has infantry equipment from all over historic Europe, the British empire and all sides on this island, including a load of traditional UVF gear. I knew FF would start ramping things up, but getting a former Ulster Unionist councillor so early is a bit of a surprise. I can see many garden centre Unionists voting for FF, consider many members of this group would have travelled abroad with FF on trade missions in the past. Unionist big business will find a new ally with FF.

I see you have one of the surviving Vampire jets there - Ireland's first jet planes in service with the Air -Corps. I'd like to see this exhibtion myself in real life - unfortunately the next time i'd be able to go to dublin wouldn't be for some months due to commitments elsewhere.

I'll keep it in mind. Anytime I go to Dublin I'm on a pub crawl most of the day unintentionally.

do you know what i haven't been inside a pub for over a year i've just realised and the last alcoholic drink i had was some wine at christmas.
Anyway - I too was surprised to see this move from FF, but yeah i can see moderate unionists finding FF infinitely easier to get along with than SF in some respect.

TBH for once the DUP have made a point. The UUP offer nowt to anyone but themselves and even their policies are shite. The DUP are the same, but they have votes.
