its an ok song although i can think of far better but for god's sake the whole point of the song is a couple once in love slagging each other off - i have said i feel the whole thing about pc is sometimes exxagerated but in this case we do seem to have well of middle class (mostly white) bbc controllers choosing to feel offended on our behalf.

A couple of points: firstly, the song is 20 years old, has he never noticed before now?
Secondly, the term faggot has an entirely different meaning in Ireland anyway. Twat.
Hopefully the publicity will line the pockets of the Pogues even more, especially poor old Phil Chevron who has throat cancer.
