• The Israel/Palestine conflict must be solved to the benefit of both peoples.
  
• Close co-operation with indigenous Muslim groups must be maintained. Law-abidding Muslims are the best weapon against home-grown terrorists.
  
• The U.S. must stop meddling in the Middle East as it is. Giving everyone money to spend on arms is an absolute ridiclous idea!
  
• The Middle east countries must start co-operating together to improve their own region. Muslims everywhere must start publicly denouncing extremists within their own ranks.
  
• Practices like guantanamo must stop. Holding people indefinetly without trial is illegal and anti-democratic. Practice what you preach Bush!
  
• New sources of energy must be researched into to ween the West off it's dependency on this regions natural resources.
  

No quick fix, or single act is going to sort this out.

The US has already killed one of the main "pan-arab" leaders looking for closer co-operation with other arab nations. Noting, that Iranians are not specifically arabs.
