that is croydon for you, rough as fuck - the company i work for has a branch there and very occassionally i have gone to help out there - it is a depressing area -the first thing you see getting off the train is a huge off-license selling cheap booze and loads of chavs hanging around about it. I actually felt physically scared the few times i have been in the area and i am no little bloke and my own area is not so lovely.

He should have been jailed for a minimum 5 years then got a supervision order. Better still the victim could decide the work involved in the supervision order if he chooses to take part.
Cowardly heartless bastard who deserves alot more than a jail sentence but and there always is a but. He could do his supervision order under requests from the victim which ineffect would have him trying to make ammends for his crime by carrying out work for the victim.
