Surely the Ra will sort this out or will it be left to the PSNI There is no more RA... well PIRA anyway.......... can't really call The Stickies, Cokes or Conties RA either. There hasn't been an INLA in years ......... Everyone is retired and the younger ones gone to see the world and the older ones are in community projects. Not for a second do i believe the RA has gone away and i don't think they will for a while yet ;D Who are the stickies?? You telling me the IRA has no more command structures, no more access to weapons just in case?? ;D ;D Come on, i didn't come up the bann in a bubble

I didnt know what he really meant by "The army council can not disband or dissolve, because if they did then a dissident group could claim that they had re-activated the army council" untill recently when I read a small book called Pocket history of the IRA, its very short and quite detailed on the army council and legitimacy. He was spot on when he said that. The second the Provisional Army council announce they are disbanding completely and fully, Rurari O'Bradaigh and his contos would be in there calling themselves the IRA that fought the war and have the brand name to show it almost.
I can understand why Harry would think the IRA have not really gone away, if the UVF said the same thing and decomissioned everything I'd not believe it, I'd still think they have guns hidden out in the countryside of mid-ulster.
There are no guns, they where destroyed but more importantly the reason to use them isnt there, I'd be happier with that than giving up guns then going out and looking for more, it would defeat the purpose.
