Has anyone found any evidence that the kid was selling drugs yet? If there is you'll not hear it on the news.

Blueangel I agree with you on the dealers, soem are siply pure evil and a bad childhood is not a sole excuse for everyone. But some of these small time dealers like some addicts have had a hard life where some turned to drugs to ease there pain or to try to forget.
What we need is for the law to get tough and for a lot more help for addicts as well as trying to educate the dealers.

Frightening stuff. Sadly it usually is societys most vulnerable that become addicts. The children whom you mentioned setanta has deeply disturbed me at what they suffer with neglect etc. I think of the amount of love and attention my own baby son gets, then I think on these poor poor kids. People should need a licence to become a parent.

There arent a lot of heroin addicts that deal. They dont make a whole lot of money for obvious reasons.

Well setanta fair play to sinn fein for seemingly being the only ones to be doing anything. I personally know a recovering addict who also was a smalltime dealer. He has been clean for nearly two years and I managed to find him some work. The medication he is on has him sweating like crazy as though he was just out of a shower. Anyway when his employers found out he used to deal they got shot of him straight away.
I understand the employers position, but he is nowhere near young people, works very hard and is really trying to turn his life around. He started dugs in prison of all places after he nearly killed his alcoholic father after watching him for years beat his mum up and then turn on him. The whole story is really sad but fair play to him he keeps on trying and at least he hasn't turned to taking a quick fix.
