If someone had this pic in a funny pic site or magazine then I would find it funny. But I think the advert is in bad taste for any company, particularly one that is to serve the public. Along with the fact many people here are truly grateful for the army risking and all to often giving there lives for people here. Bomb disposal experts is a prime example.
Offended no, but it would make me try to use another airline for there insensitivity. If British Airways had something similar the other way around I think similar reactions would be common.

Its typical Ryanair, but I like their brash style. It seperates them from the crowd. I would tell anyone offended by it to get over it, its only an ad for an airline.

WASP, if you think Ryanair is there to serve the public, you've never flown with them. They make Easyjet look like Royal Brunei Airways....

In advertising terms you can't fault it. I think its very insensitive and lacks an understanding of the situation in NI, it just proves their ignorance.

Don't take it as a personal dig at Unionism though. The man insults everyone, when ever he gets the chance to generate publicity. Worse thing about Ryan Air is that they charge for wheel chairs to bring passangers on and off the planes. They're the only ones to do it in Dublin Airport. Now that is disgusting and offensive to those who are in need of wheelchairs. Sounds like a right tosser.

I doubt Ryanair cares much for unionism or nationalism, they're there to make money.
I thought it was well funny when I read it in the Irish news, anyone offended by it needs to wise up.

The Trots I know (who BTW want a federation of Trotskyst States in Britian and all of Ireland together .......feckin Unionists in our midsts ;-0 ) have always said that if ever there was a Red Revolution in Ireland and Britian, that O Leary would be the first one they'd put against the wall. Ah they're very jealous people. Trots always envy those who make more money than them.

Nothing more enjoyable than winding up Socialist Worker people. When offered a paper I usually reply, "No thanks I have a job" which seems to send them into transports of outrage. Twats.

Ryanair is always pulling media stunts like that. Not long after 9/11, when there was a big downturn in flight travel, Ryanair had an ad campaign in Britain using Churchills famous WW2 speech. "We will fly them to the lands, we will fly them to the beaches".
