I always knew Paisley had a sense of humour ("Teeth will be provided" etc) but until I read the Indo this morning, I was utterly unaware that Gerry Adams was also considering a stint in standup. Love this quote:
"Mr Adams resisted all questions as to what form of government his party might support after the election, insisting the votes had to be counted first.
"We are not interested in being in government for the sake of it," he said.
"We don't want to see Sinn Fein bums on ministerial seats just for the crack." "
It's the way he tells 'em.....

Adams is always better at playing the straight man, and is hard to get any crack out of him!! But he is never an arse!
But the chances of SF forming any form of government (or even supporting a minortity gov) is definately shrinking after comments today from a few of the FF (including Willie O'D..>) ministers.
Mind you Willie O'D...'s mind is definately playing tricks with him (maybe drugs related) as he denied yesterday ever using drugs, despite an interview 2 yrs ago with a Limerick newspaper where he admiting to one experiment with drugs.

I dont see the big deal with newspapers going mental about government ministers doing drugs at one point. Most people do them at one point in their life, and most editors that write the articles have done them too.
