Personally, I find the Siege of Limerick far more interesting but unfortunately doesn't get enough attention in the history books. The siege at Derry is also fascinating I might add. The 17th century was a very colourful century in Irish history. So much going on.

I dont think I ever heard of the siege of Limerick. I doubt its on the British history curriculum ;D. It followed the Battle of the Boyne. It was part of the Williamite wars.
