I genuinely feel sorry for the ordinary Irish people of all classes who had no part to play in the greed of bankers and developers or the stupidity of the irish government. A good example of this would be the irish business man who was on the radio yesterday morning and was in tears at the thought of having to pay staff off from his family run business.
I would like to ask those who oppose the British so much such as republicans and in particular those who oppose a state visit by Her Majesty the Queen are they going to object to the financial help being offered by Her Majestys government or does there so called principles and aspirations not count when it comes to handouts?
