I guess it's a really bad day if there isn't some good news, it would been better news if they never had them in the first place. There would have been a lot more innocent people alive today. But hey it's ok all is forgiven and we move on. We all that is except the victims families and friends. I'm happy that no one else will die "hopefully" at the hands of these people and their ilk.

And will they come forward and admit their crimes and put the questions of their victims families at rest?? Or will they just be the typical republican hypocrites who demand answers from everyone but themselves.

Yes I do, you just want to try and put everyone in the same pot so we will say ok lets move on. Bollocks to that, many brave men and women butchered by terrorists for doing a job and the same people although armed for their own protection never fired abullet in their lives. So go ahead Jim.

WASP. I agree with you. Laying down your arms does not separate you from the guilt that you acquired murdering innocents with them. I'm sorry for past generations that many murders in ulster went undetected. But I'm also glad that future generations of children have more to look forward too than their parents did.

Collina to an extent I agree with you but anyone who believes that any organisation removed all their arms are fools.

Maybe the USA should make Bin Laden head of security, a few taliban in charge of security at airports, the Iranian pm incharge of gay rights, Nick Griffin in charge of the welfare of immigrants society etc etc.

Typical shinner speak that when it suits and the argument is not quite going there way we get "we would rather move on than look to the past constantly" That thread was right up to date to today and you dragged it back into the past.

I'm happy these groups have finally disarmed.
Anyone notice that the DUP didn't look for photos this time?

Well Bilk that would be great and all if I was actually a shinner. I've never been a member in my life and have vowed to stop voting for the shower of cunts for quite a while. If it eases you're opinions, I vote Green Party. I grew up in the 80s and early 90s, grim times from my perspective but nothing compared to the 70s. Do I want my kids to grow up in similar circumstances? Do I fuck. I want to move on and I tell you what, while you and Wasp are bickering about what god is right and whos politics is right, I'll be living life. No time for secterianist pish anymore lads I'm sorry to tell you.

Jim while I can in a way understand your points but that doesnt cover those who differ from you. Tell me what bickering have I done to prove who's politics are right?? I dont understand that remark because I think most of the current crop of Unionist politicians are worthless, self seeking shower of shite.
Not to long ago Jim your attitude was quite different from now where you acknowledged very little yet brought up allegation after allegation to back any points you made. You are as entitled to that as anyone in the sameway Bilk and I are entitled to view our points just like anyone else. In fairness to Bilk he has made many valid points.

No time for secterianist pish anymore lads I'm sorry to tell you. I never said you were a shinner, I know from what you have told me in the past that you are not. All I said was that what you said was "typical shinner speak" But you do the same as the shinners at times drag up a false past to cover the atrocities from your community, I know the things some in my community have done and am ashamed of it. What I have found so hard to drag from even a nationalist, as opposed to a republican, is one ounce of condemnation for what the shinners did in the past and are still in a different way doing. We have moved on, much further than I would have wished, but we have moved on. Short of giving in to a UI and renouncing my Britishness, I don't know what else the unionists can do to prove to you and your ilk that they are moving on. No matter how far we move we still get the old cry "unionists are stuck in the past". The shinners may or may not have laid down their weapons, but they are still fighting the war that was supposed to have ended centuries ago. Now it is a war of stealth and skullduggery, always with the threat, "Do you want to go back to the bad old days"? And by the way I have never criticised anyones choice of church, I am not that good a Christian to have that right. I am critical of the Catholic church when it is called for, like the sex scandals that seem to raise their head on a daily basis. I also criticise the unionists endlessly, I also criticise my own community when it is called for, something nationalists/republicans seem incapable of. (bar a few exceptions) but they are the exception that proves the rule.

Yeah I noticed Collina, I bet the shinners and unionist knockers are smilling all over their silly faces. I suppose this is proof positive that we are still living in the past while the shinners move forward with their continuous war on the unionist community.
