THOSE WITH NOTHING HAVE SO MUCH TO GIVE......??

We probably all have a story to tell about this and i know its not always the case but in general those with very little are usually the most generous, warm, people you will ever meet.

They would give you the shirt off their back yet those with money are so tight!! I guess thats why they have some!! ;D

Anyone any feel good stories of incidents like this??

I mainly get tips from normal people in the hotel I work in.

The posh bankers and business men dont tip at all!

I was telling Bilk and Sandy a wee bit about the following the other night. While out and about doing some work I saw an elderly lady get out of a car helped by a woman whom I thought was her daughter. Anyway her garden was like a jungle with some of the weeds/brambles etc being about chest height.

After introducing myself I offered to tidy the garden and clearly said I would do it for free. The lady was infact this elderly lady's social worker and it was obvious she was in very poor health. Anyway I came back and sorted her garden to the best of my ability with the little time I had, and when I was leaving the lady insisted on paying me and I insisted that I would take no payment at all. So she reached me 50pence and said you have to take that for all your trouble, which I thought was very sweet and kind of her.

Nothing to do with money it was the fact she insisted on making some kind of payment. A real nice lady too.
