Jim you cannot blame the current tory party for any mistakes made in the past, secondly I am sure labour just like all political paties need no lessons in ripping people off. Certainly can, many from the early 90s are still there and still making policy. Policy making and party politics doesnt begin or end with those who have happened to get elected the past few years. David Cameron certainly doesnt make their policy either. The Tories unlike "New Labour" in 1997 havent had an inner party revolution to change who does what, the only thing that has changed is the face and voice of the party.

Jim by all accounts most parties are corrupt or have corrupt and greedy politicians, left wing, right wing, tory, labour, republican, Unionist etc etc they are all guilty and it is unfair to blame one party for the ills of another. Politicians ripped off the people and the only reason they are sorry is because they were caught.

I'd say pretty much all of them are corrupt, to varying degrees. It doesn't mean the Tories are any less guilty. They're probably the worst for it.
Where does your support for the conservatives come from? They've certainly no interest in people like us. Working class from NI.
