AFD you are the one who said I was talking rubbish, I explained the google search bit and you will find plenty of info on even the Irish governments opinion. Now since you claim I am talking rubbish and I explained how to get info on it, YOU prove I am talking rubbish. You can't can you unless of course you name different to what most people seems to know.

You are talking rubbish because you are throwing a fit and failing to answer the question that you said you knew the answer to.
I have no interest in doing goggle searches for information that is pure speculation. If you know then say, but we all know that you do not know, and can not know. And therefore you try to avoid the cul-de-sac you have run down.
I do not need to prove you are talking rubbish your inability to answer is cementing that fact with every avoidence you make of the question.

You do make me laugh with you trying to twist things. I have provided how you get proof, I have nemed the Irish government in confirming what most people believed. You have accused me of talking rubbish, but can you prove it? I think it is you who is avoiding the question by not being able to prove I am talking rubbish.

OK guys, I started this thread. The whole point is, the loyalist paramilitary organizations not only do not have to disarm, they are being given money by the government.
I don't care whose representatives sit where. I don't care how big or small an organization is, or how much a threat anyone thinks it is. This is wrong, full stop.

Fair enough mactalla and I apologise for helping in the distraction on this thread. I will leave it at that as I think it is only fair to you because you asked a genuine question.

One of the problems encountered by the agencies tasked with giving this money to the UDA is that strict guidlines have been manufactured to make it difficult for all shades and types of groups to legitimately access government funds.
The one point that has raised its head and the journalist Newton Emerson highlighted in his weekly column. Is that all funding must have equality recruitment built into them. So Newton wonders how the Farset group will ensure that the UDA employ equal numbers of Catholics as Protestants??

Yes, they give statistics forms on their applications.
"Are you roman catholic, protestant, or other...... [ ]"

So if an equal number or porportionate number is not achieved will this mean that the UDA will not get access to this fund? Or is there a seperate law for the UDA?

We're taking the piss.
The UDA is an illegal organisation still, they're being given the money to cut the antics, basically being paid to wind up.

What is interesting Jim is that Margeret Richie the SDLP minister will be responsible for dishing out this money to the UDA. The SDLP are considering a legal challenge to this grant money to the UDA. Some how I doubt they will do anything other than consider.
