Slugger, I keep getting emails from your old email address Bilk, telling me that people are registering on that site. They cant post anything though because we shut it down. It's a bit like LU then, it reopened a while back and people were joining left right and center. It was all porn, so I'm glad they can't post on there. It looks like that site has been hijacked and has some automated program spamming from it. Any new user looks to be computer created and is spamming junk. Bilk, My point of views have completely changed now since talking with good people such as yourself. I came on to LU originally as a 32 county republican. Now I'm a partionionist, who wants to see things do well in NI, and for attitudes to change. Let's leave the future to the future and maybe someday, there might be a UI if it has everyones consent. I'm perfectly happy with the two state solution at the moment, and would just like to see greater co-operation to benefit us all. Since we're all in the EU, it makes very little difference anymore, as we all automatically share laws and standards from our membership. Bygones be bygones is my new motto. I'll be on other forums now, mostly Irish ones probably actually standing up for unionists against hardliners and idiots. I've already took a look at one, and I can see real bigoted fools there, comparable to ulsterlad and DV9. Maybe it's time I did my bit to get our own house in order, before trying to tackle yours.  |

Well I'd like to say this is probably going to be one of my last posts here then as I am insanely busy and stressed at work right now - my email is marcusomurchu at aol dot com (yes I know the shame of it... an AOL address) and if anyone wants to keep in touch I'd be glad to do so. And yes WASP that includes you too  I will try to find some time to look at Slugger as there are many people whose integrity here I value even if I don't always agree with their stance. |

As a final word, I'll be starting my own blog fairly soon (details TBA) which will be about fairly everyday things such as how things have changed since I became an oldie, drink (generally and specifically), music and occasionally politics, but in the general sense rather than the tired old Ussuns v Themmuns. If this site is still going when I start it I'll post the address, otherwise I'll email the details to anyone interested. Once again slan go foill agus go dte sibh slan. It's a pity this forum is going. The only reason I stopped visiting was that there was very few Unionists posting here, which was what I loved about TWF. Then I joined a Unionist forum and got kicked off for debating American politics of all things!! ;D ;D ;D Our best times were on LU when there was no Admin and just Carol moderating. As far as I know there is nothing like that on the WWW since TWF closed. Cross-Community forums RIP.  |

Hi Folks, Harry here using the admin account. I left in a bit of a hurry, so before the curtain falls i thought it only right that i said a proper goodbye. Firstly i would like to say a big thanks to Setanta for all of his efforts. He's had alot of bad press by those climbing out of the woodwork to have a pop but then i would of expected no less. Regardless of Setanta's political viewpoint he never wanted anything else other than a forum where everthing was split equally, from admin through to the moderators. He deserves credit for this and i would class Setanta as a friend. Politically we are a million miles apart but as human beings i'm sure we can get along fine. I would also like to say a big thank you to Carol becuase she was the one that made all of this possible. Without carols efforts none of the sites would of ever got going. She was the one who put all of the effort into keeping the group we had together and altough we all went separate ways, Carol was the glue that kept us all in touch. Thank You Carol xx Many things have contributed to where we are now but ultimately i failed to attract any other Unionists to the Forum. I simply wasn't prepared to sacrifice any of my friendships. I could of had loads of my pals on here but ultimately they would of clashed with original members and i would of been forced to choose and its something i didn't want to do so i took the easy option and did nothing. So if anyone is to blame for the lack of Unionists then i'm the biggest culprit. Earl, hopefully you will have my mobile number now so keep in touch. You have been a friend from the very start and i would imagine in the not to distant future our paths will cross. We have plenty in common ;D I don't think we have ever had a serious falling out and i recall falling out with fellow Unionists over the head of the treatment you were receiving!!!! Also Earl did so much for the forum with the many topics he started and was a great member. Thanks. WASP. Well old friend we have had our ups and downs but i believe we have had more ups ;D You were amazing in your support of the forum. You kept it going without a doubt. You might of wound every man and his dog up at times but without you the forum wouldn't of been the same. I have total respect for you and wish you all the best for the future and we also may bump into each other in the future Then there is people like Jim who i met during the UpTheRa days. On many occassions Jim stood by my side when i was getting sectarian abuse so that won't be forgotten either. Also marcus/BA was equally supportive of me in those times. I think Bilk and I ended on sour notes but its all water under the bridge as far as i'm concerned Bilk will always be classed as a friend in my eyes. AFD also was capable of constructing posts in ways that really got me thinking. I hope to think that there is a common respect between myself and AFD. There are so many others who contributed so much BH, BA, Shades,Collina, HOWITW,Blueman/dog,Republic,LL.....i could go on and on. To all of them and anyone i haven't mentioned, Thanks for everything. I'm not sure where i go from here. I don't have the same time as i once did to be on the forums. I'm banned from PULSE so i can't go there, none of the other forums really interest me. Carol perhaps you may be able to find out if i'm ever allowed back on PULSE?? It looks lile i may be retiring from the scene ;D Again, thanks to every single one of you. I used to be on PULSE when it was the Calton Radio forum.
What did you do to get yourself banned off there? I got banned from English Loyalists & Loyalist Bears over 2 years ago.
I'm not sure if the Loyalist FM forum is still going.I know that Loyalists United closed down early last year,due to a total lack of activity.
The U.P.M.J. forum was one place I enjoyed posting on.Unfortunately,that has gone as well.

Not sure really. I was just told that i wasn't the sort of person the forum wanted. Never got a reply from Carol etc so i guess my face doesn't fit.....fat faces are hard to fit anywhere ;D
