Sectarianism can only be tackled by highlighting and working with BOTH communities. I didn't see the program, but it sounds very one-sided. You're right to be angry Harry and WASP. One thing that we need to be wary of is reverse discrimination. I'm against any form of discrimination against any grouping of people. In NI, all I ever wanted to see was equality, not revenge. Thanks Earl for acknowledging our right to be angry. Sadly sectarianism has been rife in N.I and still is today. If anything it has got worse and political parties must shoulder there share of the blame. As a Unionist I see sinn fein as the main players doing this amongst the political parties but that doesn't mean the Unionist parties are innocen t of it either. What angers us is the fact that sectarianism is very one sided and very far from the truth. I was in West Belfast today helping in a community type project that I was invited to. I found the place very intimidating in parts but I didn't let that get in my way by helping out in helping the local community. Infact I am going back up in a few weeks time. Now a few of those who I am trying to help asked me was I a jaffa and that if I was orange bastards weren't wanted or welcome. I was up there doing my bit for free ffs, but to be fair others that were there made me feel more than welcome.

It's the BBC, we are not likely to get that, it's full of nationalist lefties dating way back to David Dunseaths time, he just did what the wife told him.

Funny that, the british broadcasting corporation, in which the head is appointed by the government, not being two sided. shouldnt pay your tv licences then, object on the grounds this and many other documentaries. as much as that sounds like a wind up, its actually not, im serious.
