Saw it advertised and have it sky+ in case i miss it. I hope it doesn't focus on one place but it looks like it will so no doubt we'll be here wednesday asking about this, that and the other. They should of went to Dunclug in Ballymena, the waterside in Londonderry etc etc.

Stoneyford is the place where there was a load of new estates built recently, and many Catholics from Belfast moved into some of these estates. The OO/OV decided to change from their traditional route through the town centre to a route which took them right through these estates.

No chnace Harry, as long as it is the poor downtrodden Irish Catholics everything is fine and dandy. FFS look at the response the exodus from Londonderry got. I think I will just take the republican line and dismiss everything that doesn't go along with our lines of arguement.
We have enough ira spokesmen on here to justify their actions and dismiss what goes against their grain, so perhaps we should play the same game and take the same stance.
We will just let sinn fein/ira and their ilk take the stand on everything as we will be just dismissed.

Have you seen a preview of the program WASP, because it looks like you're getting very worked up there about something that you couldn't possibly have seen yet. Maybe you should chill out, watch the program, and then get on your ever so high horse if it doesn't suit your tastes.
I'll have to wait until someone puts it on the web. I'm working a 14 hour plus day today. The frickin' joy! The sick part is, I might have to do the same tomorrow, and MISS the Liverpool/Arsenal game!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Wasn't a bad result for us. There was only 3 players starting that game that will start tomorrow compared to the amount of Arsenal players in action that day. 1-1 away from home against a top side with a 2nd string team is a great result. Plesiss had a great game. He's one to watch for the future. AS the song goes, 'Solid, solid as a rock!' Crouchies goal was very well taken. I hope he stays on.

Arsenal were shite in the first half but were the better team in the 2nd. Silva was one of our best players as agreed by most in the bar afterwards yet the sun rated him as one of our worst.
Arsenal have blew the title and I don't have much faith for tomorrow night. Anyway I got 28pds on the national and 1200 on the Irish lotto so it made up for the result.

Well i've just watched it and in all honesty i could put my foot right through the TV because once again i've watched a documentary supposedly relating to the problems of sectarianism in NI and all i've seen is a one sided piece of fucking shit. 5 families forced out of Stoneyford. Tragic, wrong, unjustified and blatant sectarianism. 12 families at least forced out of Dunclug in Ballymena but not a mention, god knows how many forced out in Londonderry, the Torrens estate cleared but again totally nothing. We did get a quick mention about OO halls attacks and about a brick being thrown from the Short Strand into Cluan Place. I never realised Sectarianism was so one sided Does anyone think this programme gave a fair account of the extent of sectarianism within NI??? Now there clearly is an issue in Stoneyford and it needs tackling. People should be allowed to live in peace. Full Stop. There can be no justification for what is happening in Stoneyford. The programme should of been billed as an insight into the problems in Stoneyford, not as some sort of report into sectarianism in NI because that isn't what the programme was about. It was complete one sided bias. If a convicted Republican murderer was in my area i'd have a problem with it. If it'd of been Harryville he'd of needed a few more of those SF minders. It was more to do with his IRA past than a simple sectarian incident. He got what he wanted and as usual we give them excatly what they need. Also i'm sick to the back fucking teeth of this term Loyalist for every cunt under the sun. Loyalist this, Loyalist that. We are all Loyalists but Republicans are dissidents!! Can't be right. I'm fuming

I just watched the show. I agree with what Harry said that it shouldn't have been billed as an insight into sectarianism in NI as a whole but rather a look at the situation in Stoneyford alone. However, it was worrying to see that 2 PSNI members were disciplined because of their in-action when the families sought help.

Sectarianism can only be tackled by highlighting and working with BOTH communities. I didn't see the program, but it sounds very one-sided. You're right to be angry Harry and WASP. One thing that we need to be wary of is reverse discrimination. I'm against any form of discrimination against any grouping of people. In NI, all I ever wanted to see was equality, not revenge.
