Everyone have a good day? I just got in the house, been drinking since about 3 in different pubs around belfast city center but I'm not actually drunk, whats that all about? Been in too many bars I don't remember a lot.. just involved Guinness. Did our Wasp and Harry do much?

What does that have to do with St Patrick's Day, FFS? I spent the afternoon having a more ecumenical singsong: I played a four-hour gig for a good-sized crowd of amiable drunks, including my big mate from Ballymena. I managed to play the Fields of Athenry and COme Out You Black and Tans followed by The Old Orange Flute and The Sash. There you are - an Ireland of equals...:-)

I haven't a clue what that had to do with St Pats day, I havent a clue what the ir, ira chants had to do with it either. Before that everyone was having a real good time and then as usual the sectarian bullshit comes out, I knew quite a few Prods there and none of them in my time reacted to it

It goes very hard on the listener Jim...What I like about NZ is that while there were lads from Cork, Dublin, Wexford, Belfast (west and east), Ballymena, Ballycastle, Galway, Mayo and Fermanagh, there was no tension at all. Funny how we all seem human to each other when we're outside of Ireland. Even the Corkmen....

Of course, we can stand side by side all over the world but not in our own back garden.
