I got the internet when I was 14 but when I got it I didn't go on it that much, porn, some game website and napster back in the day.
Suppose I went to my friends house more but I was only 14. If I got rid of the internet tomorrow most of my time would be spent in the pub so it saves me loads of cash.

Played guitar in a band. Played football. Drank. I wouldn't have discovered the wonders of the internet until I started university back in '98. Was working on computers since 1989 though.

My computor blew up a while back so I lost the internetz for 4 weeks due to a delay on the new one arriving, I read lots more, done more cycling etc and to the amazement of the gf got all the DIY finished, everyone should try it once.

I used to practise my guitar playing skillz ( BA attempts to get down with the youngsters there and fails miserably) and also paint and draw quite a bit. I should do the latter again as it was relaxing and every so often I'd create something I thought was beyond my own talents and feel satisfied by that.

I had an enforced spell of the net back in April.My laptop packed in and had to be returned for repair. I have my desktop pc but have become so used to the laptop that I just didn't bother. My desktop needs to have a blooming good service done on it, and the keyboard needs replacing, the letter R sticks and refuses to work,I just didnt't see the point of even trying to use the thing. Whileabout the off the net I actually WROTE letters,something I haven't done in ages. I managed to catch up on jobs that I had been putting of for a while. Shades ,your pc blowing up reminds me of some one we all know from LU ,only the plonker went online and opened a thread about the burning smell, normal people would have looked behind the tower to find out the cause  Think coins and maps you will know who I'm on about The cat brought a mouse home once that hid in my tower, fked if I could find him (just back from the pub) the next day he had fried the computor and escaped, coins and maps? maybe chiefnut? |
