I know we are all at each others throats (as usual), but I genuinely want to wish a peaceful, enjoyable and entertaining weekend to all our unionist posters.

Well I can't wait as its my first 12th for a while. I don't think I am going out tonight but if I do it will be to my local which is a mixed bar, but the banter is usually brill.
Thanks earl for the wishes.

In all honesty it was probably my best ever twelth. The parade was fantastic with the Chinese community giving there usual display. The street where I was standing was lined with the very young right upto the very old. People waiting patiently sitting on there deckchairs while the kids played about in what only can be described as a real family affair.
Great to see as usual so many Catholics standing with there families watching the parades, standing side by side with there Protestant friends and neighbours. The street I was on or rather road is quite a long one and I saw 3 female police officers who were walking and chatting with the spectators.
A real family day out rounded off by a BBQ at a friends house where I started singing the men behind the wire and snipers promise just to add a bit of spice to the evening. Funny thing is I was the only one that knew alot of the words and even the Catholics that were there didn't know the words, but they knew the sash. lol

Carol I missed Scarva this year but I have been told it was also one of the best ever. If it was a 10th as good as the 12th then it would have been fantastic.
All in all a fantastic weekend .
