If Rangers ever make a European final again, you can be sure that whichever country is hosting it will probably treat all Rangers fans with suspicion and will come down hard on anything they believe as anti-social behaviour.

TBH a lot of people will come out with the whole only 40-50 people were arrested out of 200,000 but its well known now that the police had orders to turn a blind eye to a lot of things, so keeping that in mind, its for the first time in years unsafe to wear a rangers top in manchester, no joke. Luckily for me wearing a Celtic top has never gotten me so many good remarks If Rangers ever make a European final again, you can be sure that whichever country is hosting it will probably treat all Rangers fans with suspicion and will come down hard on anything they believe as anti-social behaviour. If Rangers ever reach another final it'll probably be somewhere in Europe anyway, and they're not soft. Police in Italy or Germany won't be told to turn a blind eye. But it'll be harder for known dickheads to get over too, the final wont be just down a few motorways.

The Rangers Supporters Assembly raised concerns over the way Greater Manchester Police appeared to switch from "helpful mode" to "riot mode" and had also received reports regarding police over-reaction.Fook yer Pope and yer GMP.

I suppose there is only so much you can do when workers like at piccadilly station start striking for the day because of the harrassment.

It's mad. After furore when this happened I thought people would have more to say on the offical report. Here you Harry Ville you can't switch alligences like that!! You're either a Pool Red or a Gers Blue![/quot Once a Red always a Red. I only like Rangers cos i dislike Celtic. If the riots hadn't of happened none of these earlier incidents would of been reported. Those who carried out these actions ruined the name of RFC. Nothing justifies what was done. My point is that almost all large gatherings of football supporters brings with it the lager louts.

Sorry i wasn't very clear. My point about lager louts was in relation to all the minor incidents that are now being reported which if it hadn't of been for the riots we would of heard nothing about. We would of heard about how well behaved fans were.
The riots were the work of thugs.

I believe it was the European cup, which now permanently sits in the cup cabinet at Anfield.
