The North's new DUP Sports Minister has pledged to oppose discrimination and to treat all sports equally.
Gregory Campbell was given the job yesterday in a reshuffle of the DUP's ministerial team by new First Minister Peter Robinson.
In the past, he has criticised the GAA for naming some of its grounds after Irish historical figures, some of whom, he said, were terrorists.
Mr Campbell's predecessor, Edwin Poots, became the first DUP politician to openly attend a GAA match.
