You say you are well aware that others were off topic but you chose only to delete in one section.
Does that not strike you as selective, and considering that you have voiced objections to some of the things I was saying? Does it not strike you that your personal bias might have coloured your view and allowed you to delete one that did not fit into your way of thinking? But someone who wants to administrate equally and fairly would have or will now, deliver the same rule to everyone. Why will you not be consistant with everyone else on this new rule?
I do not think I am better than anyone, but I do want to be treated the same as everyone else. But you have admited that you were selective in one section only, does that not show that you are being selective and everyone is not being treated the same.
Maybe I am tired of being treated like a second-class person, and I have a chip on my shoulder. But that does not change the facts, you have admitted you deleted. You have admitted you deleted selectively. You admit that others have also erred but you fail to act in the same manner. What does that say about you?
And this is a new charge that you now claim I have made - I was 'polluting the sports section' with logical debate that challenged myths that were being implied. And because of this I was deleted.
I think people watching should take note of how your reasons Harry keep seem to be shifting. From, I made a mistake, I was trying to tidy up the forum, I was removing polluted material. But you freely admit that you will not do that to others.
I am not against anyone cheering on their team. But when false statements get made in that support. I think it is important to correct them. So as a balanced pictur be attained.
So if we do not play by you views you will take the ball away. And I thought you were accusing me of acting like a child?

Sport section is for sport. I'll repeat that just so it maybe sinks in. SPORT SECTION IS FOR SPORT!!! I didn't only delete your posts, i also deleted wasps posts. Both sides of the arguement were deleted. If it makes it easier for you YES I WAS BEING SELECTIVE AS I ONLY CHOSE TO ACT IN THE SPORT SECTION, not because i decided to select you or your posts!!!!! If other threads in other sections go off topic then maybe sometimes we will try and put people in the right direction but generally i'd just go with the flow. If however all the other sections aren't enough for you or anyone else to debate sectarianism, politics, etc etc and you once again choose to ruin the sport section then i will not hesitate to do EXACTLY THE SAME AGAIN!!!! Doesn't matter if its yourself, wasp, unionist,republican...it will recieve the same treatment. If you believe that its impossible to separate sport from politics then fair enough, thats your view and i'm sure you could back up your point. You were hardly really winning hands down in the debate anyway and i thought you might appreciate me saving you any further embarressment as wasp was tearing pieces off you ;D ;D ;D Try and understand we would like the sport section and the other sections to try and have threads within them that suit the location. Its not personal against you or anyone else. Why should setanta wasted his time making all the sections if the users will just simply posts stuff wherever they like??? |

And that comment must be STRICTLY limited to sport, and must not contain any political comment on sport outside a cheer or a boo. And even boos will be scorned upon.

But I am not comfortable with a group that thinks selective censorship is okay and the one that decides has openly admited that he thinks sectarianism is something that only exists in the mind of Irish nationalists. And despite saying he made a mistake then goes on to say he will make that same mistake again.

WASP is the prime example of what our tolerance with those who may cause occasional conflict can become when we can keep control of our own patience. This is the thing that has allowed the building of many strong and changing relationships from LU to the first TWF to now. There were times he warmed our hearts and there were times he step on our hearts, but through it all it was easy to see there was always something there of value. We love you WASP!!! |

Setanta how do you decide when a comment is a personal attack? Surely being called an ass hole is a personal attack? Or if I put my response followed by a smiley face does that allow it as a non personal attacks, get real here!
I did not start the personal stuff but responded to defend myself. Maybe Wasp should be fully censored first.
