Ah yes, the old national front - people go on about the IRA been involved with fascists at one time from the unionist side of the fence but the NF has roots right back to the old blackshirts and I'd hate to associate myself with them. I've seen republicanism critiqued for having some sympathy for the Palestinians but the NF is rabidly anti-semitic and if you'd like proof heres a page or two from their own site:- www.natfront.com/new-money-extended-use.htmIt's crap straight from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. And btw before anyone asks I think attacking OO halls is as disgraceful as attacking premises used by the GAA -both are the work of cavemen elements from their respective communities.

I don't know, because I'm not involved with any paramilitary groups, to what extent the NF are actually connected to any loyalist groups. I know they hang on the coat tails of a lot of organisations around the world. But whether they are actually welcomed by all those organisations is something else. I know there was an attack on some people in Castle street a few weeks ago that was blamed on Linfield supporters, because these people used the Irish Cup semi final between linfield and clitonville to attack somone in the center of town. It was the NF who were responsible, not linfield, as will be seen when Linfield are not punished by the IFA. I can't see the UVF/UFF or whoever complaining about this incident after what happened to OO halls. But to say they were involved with them because they daubed their slogans is a step too far. Can't see that bunch of hoods being stupid enough to point the finger at themselves by painting their slogans on the gates, then that's just an opinion.

It's a fair point that anyone can daub graffiti - i can go out right now and paint IRA up the walls here and if i get away with it (as I probably would since this area is deserted at night and quiet and police presence is low) someone will assume idiotically there's significant support for the 'ra here if I put it up in enough places.
The NF do coat trail on numerous organisations - I know at one point some unionist groups did meet them but on studying their literature and realising just how anti-semitic they were declined to want much more to do with them. I'm not in a position to say either whether any loyalist paramilitaries groups have really serious involvement with them - if any do I'd hope some more intelligent member points out exactly what their agenda is. The NF have links back and forth to neo-Nazi groups all over the place and their offshoots like the BNP (which tries to be the acceptable face of what the NF stand for) are worryingly getting support in inner cities here by using scapegoating of groups as a political tool.

Morons. My guess is that it would of been individuals with no connection to either the UFF or the NF.
