“There are criminal gangs now with more money and weapons at their disposal than paramilitaries on either side ever had."
Err, I thought the UDA were the ones selling drugs on the estates? Why paramilitaries on both sides continue with this mealy-mouthed "we 're community activists, not criminals" tripe is beyond me and why the press allows them to do it just infuriates me.

We see everything as going the way of republicans, we see republicans being appeased and a constant erosion of our Britishness, we see the very community that suffered greatly at the hands of sf/ira being used as a pawn, we see a community that offered up many many people to defend Protestant homes, land and people that are being brushed aside and I might add that these very same people done the exact same for Catholics etc etc. We see sinn fein constantly antagonizing Unionists, constantly lying to do with certain issues, constantly being hypocritical and we see our politicians as speaking out on something then NOTHING. i MYSELF HAVE SEEN DIVISIONS INCREASE INSTEAD OF EASE in many areas (soz abt caps button).
For decades our resolve was never broken, we stood firm at the face of bombs and bullets and never surrendered, now everyone else is surrendering for us without our consent. For me it will always be very much a case of No Surrender.
McDonald is right in his assumption.
