Here comes the political arrogance again. While I don't want to get into the rights and wrongs of abortion, you'd think wouldn't you, that the political parties would ask the fecking voters (ie their employers) before deciding unilaterally to ban something that is legal in the rest of the UK. As British as Finchley my arse. Rule by imperial fiat, no consultation with the electorate at all. Tools.

Friend of mine whos in SF said he's doing nowt for them ever again if they win over MPs.
Load of shite, they think that because they are "united" on something that it should happen, thats a load of fucking shite on issues like this. Its up to the individual to decide with a doctor and no one else, not gerry adams and not mark fucking durkan.
What are SF at? "Revolutionary left wing party" my hole.

I've explained party policy already Jim. This has come up at succesive Ard Fheisenna and Shannonbrooke Murphy had to get up and outline policy clearly because with all the arguments for full availability of abortions and the arguments against abortions we were getting lost. Our party policy is that it's up to each of us to decide in a referendum. But in this case there wouldn't be a referendum You can explain party policy all you want mate! Weither or not the leaders of your party pay attention to that is another matter! You don't sign letters of united agreement to talk MPs out of giving limited abortion to the north when your party policy says differently.
