I have as much time for Celtic fans as i do Rangers fans and that isnt a lot believe me. The depth of my support for rangers is that I like to see them winning, that aside I hardly know who they are playing from one week to the next. The naked sectarianism shown by some on bothsides concerning alledged football supporters is disgusting and the behaviour on Sunday is unforgivable. I would like to know why sky covered up the behaviour of these fans, I firmly believe if it had been rangers fans they would have played the events without muting anything.

Been reading those sensationalist headlines again aye?
Theres a video from the stands, as you can hear (unlike the TV) theres not a single person making a peep inside the ground until the whistle goes, everyone in there was impeccable.

Aye? The same opposition fans you see in that video in the other stand?
They saw the same as in that video!
Fuck sake, I know about 3 or 4 different people at that match, 1 bhoy, 2 or 3 falkirk fans who support city, nothing out of line in the ground, people outside the ground, different story obviously, but what do you expect?
Personally if I were a Rangers fan like yourself I'd be more concerned about getting banned from Europe for (yet again) rioting abroad.

Err Jim I am not exactly a rangers fan, I have explained many times my stance on rangers and for that matter Scottish football so I dont really see why you had to throw that in to this thread, afterall the thread was about Rememberance Sunday not any riot anywhere in the world. Classic case of whataboutery

To add further insult;
MP Reid misses Remembrance Sunday, but goes to Celtic Match!
Airdrie and Shotts MP John Reid has been criticised for failing to attend the main remembrance Sunday ceremony in his constituency- but then taking his place in the stand for a Celtic match that afternoon.
The former Defence minister was not among the politicians and dignitaries who gathered at Airdries's war memorial for the traditional11am service and parade. His MAP counterpart, Karen Whitefield, was present at the council organised ceremony which was held in Airdrie this year.
However in his capacity as Celtic chairman, Reid was at Falkirk for the club's league match, which kicked off at 12-45pm.
This wanker should resign.

Classic case of whataboutery cant have celtic without rangers, can you? every other paper, website and person brings in the "what about themens" when talking about either club, why shouldnt i? just felt I should add it in. we celtic fans dont want anything to do with rangers anyway, no guilt by association. did ye watch me video?

Celtic proposed a minutes applause as they feared this would happen as it does whenever they try it at a Celtic match.
SKY chose to minimise the crowd volume for this very reason. These are sky pictures but from another broadcaster who didn't. Hence the lack of largescale public outrage as it wasn't even heard on the sky sports pictures.
The video you post jim you can still cleary hear singing of the song which i'm sure is about someone who was killed during the troubles by British security forces. The name escapes me.
Its ridiculous just to say your video proves everyone in the ground was quiet just like i accept the other one is no proof they were inside the ground. Regardless it was no accident what they were singing and when. They are filth.
Never never ever should the English premiership allow Rangers and Celtic into the league. Its a shame for the decent old firm supporters but there are too many sectarian knob heads within both support to ever entitle them to a go in the biggest league in the world.

The point of the video is you can hear the singing and its clearly not in the ground. We respected it, a couple of dickheads outside the ground didnt.
What did you really expect?

Good post Harry. Jim it didnt sound like a couple of dickheads to me and ontop of that why did celtic want a minutes applause instead of like everyone else was doing having a minutes silence?? Speaks volumes about what type of support the club knows it has among many supporters.
I know quite a few celtic fans who were disgusted by this, infact 1 diehard fan inparticular who never missed a home game hasnt been for a few years after decades of going, he said he had enough especially after a bus he was travelling on had fans shouting abuse at folk leaving a church which included sectarian names and showing their arses to them. Here is a devout fan who just couldnt stomach anymore of the sectarian element that plays a very big part in celtic fc.

Well, it was.
Are you just trying to attack celtic because its celtic mate? We all have thes myths and rumours and people who we know that say this and that, ive lots of good stories and experiences tbh.
I dont doubt we have a lot of chucky fans so its falling on deaf ears.
