Funnily enough, I want Raef to win it too. Couldnt stand him at the start but I've warmed to him now, seems (kinda) like a genuine guy. I couldnt believe that episode with the kosher chicken, how could they not have known......I though they were meant to be intelliegent people

That whole Kosher/Halaal stuff would make a proper fortune in Belfast. Apparently there is only one shop in the entire city and the quality is terrible. Just a wee tip for anyone wanting to open a business you can donate 10% of the earnings to me for the idea!

Me either Bilk. I'd rather watch two raindrops running down the window than reality telly, property porn or thoseawful DIY wankfests. If that's what people call entertainment these days, imagine what they'd think if they ever tried to read a book....

And in case you are watching titchmarch right now, I meant a storyline ;D

OMG does this mean you expect another topic talking about another 'reality' show!?! Coming from a working class background these shows are not my reality, they are mind numbing escapism, like most tv entertainment. I come onto these sites for adult debate on issues that effect myself, and that are based on the real world. If I wanted to hear crap and watch crap, I can do that easily in front of the tv, on here I expect a higher standard.

I frickin' hate reality TV. Give me an episode of the Sopranos, the wire, 24 or Oz any day of the week.

Would it not of been easier to ignore this thread or do you need to air your view on it?? Your a closet fan and just can't admit it ;D

Just started watching Oz two days ago and am 3 episodes from the finish of season 1. Brilliant show. Has me really hooked. My previous top shows in order of preference are:
1. The Wire - McNulty is the man and Bunk is cool as fcuk.
2. The Sopranos - Tony is one of the best characters ever invented.
3. Battlestar Gallactica - Not the cheesy original. The deadly remake. I don't mind Sci-Fi once it's of a high quality, but I think it's unfair to simply class this as sci-fi. It's much, much more. Makes you wonder from everything from modern parallels of war and invasion to the very existence of God and your soul.
4. 24 - Love this show for it's high testosterone action and pace. Jack Bauer is one salty mofo.
5. Oz - Provisonal place. This has the potential to move up to third spot at least. Need to see more episodes. O'Reilly is one devious dude, but considering he doesn't have a default ethnic gang to look out for him (except for a few prison guards), he has to be to survive.
6. The Shield - Great show, mixing the testosterone like action of shows like 24 with the more subtle plot and character building of shows like Oz. Jack of all trades, master of none.
7. Rescue me - Absolutely hilarious. The best thing Denis Leary has done to date.
8. Firefly - Only one season ever made and a feature film called 'Serenity'. More a western than a sci-Fi. Great characters and dialogue.
9. Brotherhood - Only one season of this made. Not too sure if another one is coming out. Two brothers from an Irish American family, one involved in the Irish mob, the other involved in state politics. The programme asks the question as to who the bigger crooks are.
10. Homicide, life on the street - Great show. The episode which was entirely shot in the interrogation room was excellent.
11. Deadwood. - Lovejoy as a cnut. Who would have thought it would have worked so well!
